Questions People Ask Before They Call
Most people arrive here with the same handful of questions. Here they are, answered plainly.
What The Rewire Company actually does
We help leaders and teams figure out what to do with AI, then build it with them.
That starts with the work, not the technology. Before anything gets built, we look at how a process actually runs today, where it stalls, and who is stuck waiting on whom. The bottleneck is almost never the thing people expect it to be. Most of what gets sold as an AI problem turns out to be a process problem with a technology attached.
There are four parts to the company. Rewire Work is consulting and building for businesses and teams. Rewire Education is AI literacy and policy support for K-12 schools. Rewire Apps builds small, single-purpose applications. Rewire Agents covers agents, skills, and agentic workflows.
Who this is for
People who run things and are not engineers.
Operators, managers, HR leaders, school administrators, owners of small and mid-sized businesses. If you have been handed AI as a mandate and told to figure it out, that is the situation this was built for.
You do not need a technical background. The thing that makes AI useful is management experience, not technical skill. Directing AI is close to directing people: you have to say what you want, give context, set the standard, and correct the work when it comes back wrong. That is a skill most leaders already have and do not realize transfers.
I spent twenty years on the people side of business before this. That is the lens, and it is the reason the work starts with how a team operates rather than with a tool comparison.
How an engagement starts
With a conversation, then a diagnostic.
Rewire Work runs in stages, and you can stop after any of them:
1.) Explore and Activate, or the Eye Opener. A session that shows a team what is actually possible with the tools they already have. Most people leave having seen their own work done differently.
2.) Diagnose and Design, or the Deep Dive. We map a real process, find where it breaks, and decide what should be automated, what should stay human, and what should not be touched at all.
3.) Develop and Deliver, or the Build. We build the thing, with your team in the room rather than for them, so somebody on your side can run it after we leave.
Executive coaching and custom partnerships sit alongside these for leaders who want ongoing help rather than a project.
What it costs
It depends on the work, and we will tell you before we start.
There is no menu price on this page, and I would rather say that plainly than publish a number that does not survive contact with your actual situation. A single session for one team and a multi-week build across four departments are not the same engagement and should not carry the same price.
What we will do is scope it in writing after the first conversation, so you see what it costs before you commit to anything. If the honest answer is that you do not need us, we will tell you that too. Not every problem needs a consultant, and some of them do not need AI at all.
What we do for schools
AI literacy, policy, and training for K-12 districts.
That covers board and cabinet sessions, teacher training, guidance for students, and classroom-ready frameworks that a teacher can use on Monday without a technology background. The work is aimed at protecting student thinking rather than policing student output, which turns out to be a different problem than most policies are written to solve.
Rewire Education exists because I went looking for this material as a parent and a school board member and could not find it.
Does Rewire build custom apps and agents
Yes. Both.
Rewire Apps builds small applications that do one thing for one situation. You describe the problem, you get a written specification back before anything is built, and every app gets checked by a person before you see it. Not just tests passing. Somebody opens it and uses it the way you would.
Rewire Agents covers agents, skills, and agentic workflows built around how a team actually works, across business software, custom workflows, and full agentic teams.
Both are newer than the consulting work. Apps and Agents are announced and not yet generally available, so if you are reading this and want one, the honest answer is that it starts with a conversation rather than a checkout page.
Why work with us if you do not want to replace anyone
Because that is the whole premise.
I have had to tear down organizations as well as build them. I know what it looks like when a company cuts people, especially in a reactionary or short-sighted way, and I am not interested in helping anybody do it faster.
AI should enable and empower, not reduce and replace. The opportunity is not mastering the technology. It is unleashing your talent with it. The technology still does not do anything on its own. It still does not run without people.
I also want no part of the AI hype. I do not use words like revolutionary, and I am not selling a dream. If something is impressive, you will get a specific example. If it is not ready, you will hear that instead.
